Start Your Day With My Fav Morning Smoothie
Updated: Aug 21, 2020
Hey Luvlies!
Today, we’re talking smoothies! If you’re like me, you luv a good smoothie, but if for some reason you don’t, I’m here to turn you into a legit smoothie fan…

My dad drinks smoothies often and was the main one, at first. But as my mom got into drinking smoothies on a regular basis, so did I. One thing my mom would always stress is the importance of adding nutrient boosters. When I first started making my smoothies, I would only use the fruits I love: strawberries, bananas, plus a little bit of orange juice. I would drink this smoothie at least twice a week, not realizing that it was very high in sugar.
Now, I add spinach, flaxseed, or sometimes both, and use water instead of orange juice to cut back on the sugar. I’ve also gotten a little more experimental with the fruit I use in my smoothies. I’ll sometimes use grapes, mixed berries or frozen mango, which is super good! The possibilities for a great smoothie are endless, so I’ll continue to share new recipes as I try them out.
My simple go-to is the strawberry-banana smoothie recipe I’m sharing. It’s loaded with antioxidants and other things our bodies need, but tastes great. I drink this in the morning for a healthy start to the day, but you can enjoy a good smoothie whenever. If you ask me, there's nothing better than health and beauty benefits you can drink.
