Skin Luv: Aztec Healing Clay Mask

Hey Luvlies!!

Today I am going to let you in on one of my beauty secrets for my skin. If you’ve been keeping up with my posts, you know I really luv masks. One that I use a lot is the Aztec Clay Mask!

I like this mask because when my skin gets out of order with random breakouts it pulls it back together. I like to do this mask on Sundays. That’s my time to prepare for the week but also relax.

Before I apply the mask, I cleanse my face (twice if I put it on at night). The mask comes in powder form, so you have to add water in order to activate it. You can also add apple cider vinegar or use both. Mix the combination and apply to your skin. I suggest you use a face brush so things do get messy.

If you have sensitive skin, leave the mask for 5-10 minutes. If you have normal skin, do 15-20 minutes. Use warm water to rinse the mask off.

After I remove the mask, I immediately notice a difference in my skin. The breakouts calm down because all the impurities and dirt in my pores are gone. There may be some redness after the mask is removed. If you see red, don’t worry, it will go away in about 30 minutes.

Here are some pictures of the process down below! Hope you give the clay mask a try!

Luv,

Chloé
