Valentine’s Day is coming, Luvlies! I've seen a lot of gift guides with what to buy yourself for Valentine's Day. The ideas are cool, but no one was talking about good gifts you can eat. I know, I know; you're probably thinking as long as you have some chocolate, you have what you need to get by, but why not take it up a notch and treat yourself to something sweet but special this Valentine's Day?
If you're wondering why I'm focusing on treating yourself on Valentine's Day, it’s for the people like me whose special person in her life is herself. One major recurring theme in my life is practicing self-luv and self-care. I believe that people have to know and do what makes them happy before they can be happy with someone else. I’m just now figuring out what makes me happy, so I’m taking this Valentine’s Day to celebrate that.
Make it a priority to practice self-luv every day. Start by finding what makes you smile and enjoy it, whether you're boo'd up this V-Day or not.
Now, get into these boujee treats...
Go for Nothing Bundt-Cakes
Nothing Bundt Cakes is a bakery that sells mini or regular size bundt cakes of different flavors. I tried Nothing Bundt Cakes over the summer and that’s when I knew I would be buying myself a cake for Valentine’s Day. So good and pretty too! My favorite flavor is the red velvet.
Get on Charcuterie Board
I'm so happy to see that people are getting super creative with charcuterie boards. I've talked about breakfast themed charcuterie boards, but charcuterie board possibilities are endless. You can make one with your fav fancy cheeses and smoked meats, and add bright red fruit like cherry tomatoes, strawberries, and raspberries to represent the V-Day vibes. For an even sweeter option, grab a few of your fav chocolate bars, large marshmallows, and graham crackers for s'mores-inspired charcuterie.
Have At Least One Sharp Cookie
Who doesn’t love a good cookie? If you have a favorite type of cookie, V-Day is a great time to order a few that have been decorated with luv. I have a few fav cookie flavors, but I love a sugar cookie. The kind that's soft and chewy and melts in your mouth when you chew it. I'm getting excited now just talking about it. LOL!
Break A Few Chocolate Hearts
I have seen smashable chocolate hearts all over my feed, mostly because people are using them to reveal a new product or announce a restock item. Every time I see one of these hearts, I think what a great way to package a gift. I may put a little something in one for myself and smash away. Lol!
Have a wonderful, luv-filled Valentine’s Day, Luvlies! Don't forget to share this post!
