5 Things I Luv to Watch on Netflix

Hey Luvlies!

I’m sure most of you have been watching Netflix like crazy since we all went into quarantine. Well, if you’re running out of things to watch here are my top 5 Netflix suggestions to take your mind off all the drama going on right now.

Knock The House Down

Knock The House Down is a documentary about four women in politics running for US Congress. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ran for New York’s 14th District. Cori Bush ran for Missouri’s 1st District. Amy Vilela ran for Nevada’s 4th District. And Paula Jean Swearengin ran for the U.S. Senate in West Virginia. A movie about politics may not sound like a good time, but trust me, this one will keep your interest the entire time. Check it out to see why this movie gets my vote.

Candy Jar

Candy Jar is one of my favorite movies. It’s about two high school seniors from different social classes who aren’t fans of each other but… nah, I don’t want to spoil it. Just get your popcorn ready and watch. I put this movie on the same level as On My Block (a great show!). I hope you luv it as much as I do.

Bee Movie

Bee Movie is an OG classic for me. I’ve been watching the movie for as long as I can remember, so when I saw it on Netflix—let’s just say I was hype! Barry the Bee thought he had a future working in the honey business until he starts interacting with humans and learns what they do with honey, turning him into a social justice warrior. Watch this one if you’re in the mood for some animated activism and a good laugh.

Homecoming is a great documentary about Queen Bey and the Beychella performance. Beyoncé is the first black woman to headline Coachella and in her documentary she talks about how this milestone affected her and her performance. Take a look at this documentary to see a beautiful creation of art and innovation. I rewatch this documentary A LOT!

#RealityHigh is like a modern-day Mean Girls about a high school introvert who loves volunteering and is very into her school work. Then she becomes friends with the most popular girl in her school. See how she handles the attention.

I hope you watch one of these movies, Luvlies! They are some of my favorite choices on Netflix. To get featured on Luv, Chloé’s social media, #LuvChloéNetflix! Make sure to like, comment, follow Luv, Chloé, and stay safe!
